Cancellation and Refund Policy
1. Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team at support@socialboost.ai
Cancellation Process
- Log in to your account and go to the Billing page
- Click on "Cancel Subscription" button
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle
- You will continue to have access to your credits and features until the billing period ends
- No further charges will be made after cancellation
Important Note:
Unused credits will remain in your account even after cancellation and can be used until they are consumed.
2. Refund Policy
7-Day Partial Refund Window
We offer a partial refund if you cancel within 7 days of your subscription purchase or renewal:
Refund Terms:
- •Within 7 days: You are eligible for a 30% refund of your subscription payment
- •After 7 days: No refunds are available
- •70% of the payment is non-refundable to cover service costs and processing fees
Refund Calculation Example
Starter Plan (₹800/month):
- Refund amount if cancelled within 7 days: ₹240 (30% of ₹800)
- Non-refundable amount: ₹560 (70% of ₹800)
Pro Plan (₹2,999/month):
- Refund amount if cancelled within 7 days: ₹899.70 (30% of ₹2,999)
- Non-refundable amount: ₹2,099.30 (70% of ₹2,999)
3. Refund Processing
If you are eligible for a refund:
- Contact us at support@socialboost.ai within 7 days of your payment
- Include your account email and transaction ID
- Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days
- The refund will be credited to your original payment method
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is processed
Processing Time:
While we process refunds within 7-10 business days, it may take an additional 5-7 business days for the amount to reflect in your bank account depending on your bank's processing time.
4. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Subscriptions cancelled after 7 days from purchase/renewal date
- Credits that have already been used or consumed
- Free plan credits (as they are provided at no cost)
- Partial months of service
- Third-party processing fees
5. Service Issues and Technical Problems
If you experience technical issues or service disruptions:
- Contact our support team immediately at support@socialboost.ai
- We will work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible
- If we cannot resolve the issue, we may issue credits or a refund at our discretion
- Extended service outages may qualify for prorated refunds or credit extensions
6. Fraudulent or Abusive Activity
We reserve the right to refuse refunds in cases of:
- Violation of our Terms of Service
- Fraudulent payment activity
- Abuse of the refund policy
- Multiple subscription purchases and cancellations
7. Payment Disputes
If you have a payment dispute or unauthorized charge:
- Contact us first at support@socialboost.ai before initiating a chargeback
- We will investigate and resolve the issue within 3-5 business days
- Chargebacks may result in account suspension pending resolution
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
